For a delicious and creamy matcha or hojicha, start by scooping 1 tsp (equivalent to 1-2gs) into your cup. To ensure a smooth consistency, be sure to sift the matcha first before adding 30-50mls of water. Then, mix it well to create an instant frothy base. For a warm matcha, simply pour in some frothy milk, or for a more traditional taste, add 60C hot water and enjoy. If you prefer it iced, fill your cup 3/4 with water and top it off with a generous amount of milk. You can even add your desired amount of sweetener for extra flavour.
