Scoop 1 tsp (roughly 1 - 2gs) of matcha or hojicha into your cup. Prior to blending, sift the powder for a smoother, creamier matcha base. Add 30-50mls of water and blend to create a frothy consistency. For hot matcha, top with warm frothy milk. For a pure matcha experience, use hot water (60C) instead of boiling. For an iced matcha, fill 3/4 of your cup with water and add a generous amount of milk. Add your desired sweetener if desired.
